How to Make DIY Emergency Car Seat Labels

MAMA SAY WHAT?!

And one of the biggest fears of parents is that something could happen to their kids when you’re not with them.

That’s where the emergency car seat label idea came in. With this, emergency responders are better prepared and know who to contact if your child is in a car accident, a parent isn’t with them, or the parent is unresponsive.

To make it easier for you, the labels  should include essential information such as date of birth, emergency contacts, blood type, and any medications, conditions, or allergies.

These are set up so you can fill in the information one of two ways:

1. Fill out the Form Digitally and Print It. Open the file with Adobe Reader and type in your child’s information. Then print onto sticky labels or plain paper and adhere to all of your car seats.

If you’re printing these on plain paper, simply cover them with clear packing tape for a waterproof cover.

2. Print it and Write the Info. Simply print onto sticky labels or plain paper and write in your child’s information. Then, adhere to all of your car seats.

You can print these onto Avery 3 1/3 x 4 (#8164) shipping labels if you prefer pre-cut labels. I already had some full-sheet sticker paper when I decided to print emergency information for our car seats.
