Former U.S. President Donald Trump has made a bold pledge regarding his potential re-election in 2024, vowing to defund schools that teach critical race theory and what he referred to as “transgender insanity.” At a rally in Sioux City, Iowa, Trump made his stance on race and LGBTQ+ education in schools abundantly clear.
Trump’s Day One Executive Order Promise
“On day one, I will also sign a new executive order to cut federal funding for any school pushing critical race theory, transgender insanity, and other inappropriate racial, sexual, or political content on our children,” he declared on stage.
Transgender Sports Participation Ban
The former president also expressed his commitment to barring transgender individuals from participating in women’s sports and advocating for legislation against what he termed “child sexual mutilation,” a reference to gender-affirming medical procedures.

Trump rhetorically questioned, “Can you believe we even have to say this in all 50 states?”
Agreement With Trump’s Statements
Supporters of Trump’s stance have voiced their approval.
One X (formerly twitter) user, in a surprising show of agreement, wrote, “I don’t like Trump’s actions he has done, and he should be in jail right now, but what he just said I 100% agree with.
