The situation came to a head recently when OP came home from work and found that his wife had done nothing all day.
He snapped and told her that he was sick of her not doing anything while he was providing for their family.
Hidden Anger Surfaces
The argument escalated, and the wife let him know she thought he was to blame for the loss of their daughter.
OP was shocked to hear this as they had not lost their child.
Rather he had recently paid for their child’s transition surgery and supported them throughout the process but that wasn’t the case for the mother.

The wife was offended by the choice and wanted a girl instead, her unsupportive attitude toward their transgender child had been a source of tension in their relationship for some time. It could be this that’s causing the friction in the house.
She Is Lazy Around the House
OP expects his wife to cook and clean, even though they have a housekeeper who comes twice a week.
And when she fails to meet those expectations, he becomes angry and accuses her of laziness.
Feels Her Motherly Duties Are Complete
His wife cared for their son when he was little and took on writing as a hobby, but she gave it up because she found it challenging.
Now that their son is an adult, she spends her days shopping and hanging out with friends.
