During a recent campaign event in Sioux City, Iowa, Trump displayed his unwavering belief in his ability to win the state’s caucuses.

This event marked Trump’s eighth campaign appearance in Iowa within a span of just over a month.

Trump said, “I go around saying of course we’re going to win Iowa. My people said you cannot assume that. There’s no way Iowa is voting against Trump.”

However, in a moment of slight embarrassment, he mistakenly referred to the location as ‘Sioux Falls,’ which is actually a city in South Dakota.

He said, “Hello to a place where we’ve done very well, Sioux Falls. Thank you very much.”

He quickly corrected himself but downplayed the error.

Despite months of criticism aimed at Florida Governor Ron DeSantis, during the speech, Trump shifted his attention to former Nikki Haley, who is generating interest among Iowa Republicans and experiencing an uptick in the polls.

Trump ridiculed Haley for her previous statement that she would not run for president in 2024 if he also entered the race.

Using the nickname “bird brain,” Trump dismissed Haley as “a highly overrated person.”

He even suggested that one reason he appointed her to his Cabinet while she was still governor was to facilitate Henry McMaster’s rise to the governorship of South Carolina.

This criticism came shortly after Haley criticized Trump’s admiration for foreign strongmen and voiced concerns about his style characterized by “chaos, vendettas, and drama.”

She said, “Eight years ago, it was good to have a leader who broke things. But right now, we need a leader who also knows how to put things back together.

Several social media users shared their thoughts on the incident.

One Twitter user wrote, “Actually, America and the world now see Trump for who he is. True Americans know that our country was established and formed with our Constitution which gives us protections from any “trumps” who come along.”

Not Sure Where They Live

Another user added, “Now everybody in the audience is not sure where they live. They thought they lived in Sioux City, but if Trump said it was Sioux Falls, well then I guess it is Sioux Falls now.”

Trump Is Dreaming

A third user commented, “He’s dreaming. He should be concerned about why his rallies are small.

He can’t draw the crowds so how’s he going to get all those votes to win? People are leaving him now and moving on.

Last election where I lived there were many Trump signs but I can’t find more than a handful now.”
